Synthwave with a Live Paris Clock

This station runs a distinctly French synthwave: openly-licensed tracks with that filtered, French-touch shimmer — smooth arpeggios, warm pads and gated drums — instrumental and continuous, crossfaded so the boulevard never ends. It's polished, romantic and a little nocturnal, the sound of a city that does neon with taste.

Paris has a real claim on this music. French touch — Daft Punk, and the Parisian producers who followed — taught dance music the filter-sweep glow that synthwave lives on, and the genre's biggest modern anthem, Kavinsky's 'Nightcall', is Parisian to the core. A live CET clock puts the sound back over its own streets.
